Handy ActionScript Toolset is a loose framework of classes written in Flash ActionScript 2.0 that is actually more of library than a framework, which is why it's called a toolset. The purpose of this project is to try to go around a lot of the bugs, inconsistencies and lack of functionality that flash has and provide an easy to use API. It provides a basic set of mechanisms and wrappers that should make application development easier for the programmer by providing a base to build upon. This is NOT a component framework.

Currently I'm not updating this project, because Flash is going forward fast with AS3 and AS2 and Flash 8 are now very outdated technologies.
